Pathetic, I know, but here's my kitchen in a semi-clean state. Kitchens have always been a sore spot for me. In our first home the sidewalk came right up to the side door which led into the kitchen. How annoying-- the room that gets messy very quickly and on a daily basis (at least for us)! We cook at least once every day, so to have every dish clean is an absolute miracle!
In our new apartment, our kitchen is actually larger than the one in Atlanta (can you imagine that?!) and there is this neat little breakfast nook (in the back). Only problem? We don't have a small table for it, nor do we desire one! Sadly, it's the only convenient place to keep our dog kennels. And the large kennel in the back left? See all that stuff on it? It's because if we don't keep something somewhat heavy on there, Jigsaw will escape! So our dog food container and dog storage box are conveniently displayed in our kitchen!
And I keep going back and forth on the whole pictures-on-the-fridge thing. I grew up in a house with 7 people in it-- our fridge was a scary place on the inside and out! So when we moved to Atlanta, I kept NOTHING on our fridge. Now I've started the old habit, and I think I will do away with it, because it looks awful in this pic!
