Well tonight was... frustrating... to say the least.

Cinco de Mayo, so of course our office goes to our favorite Mexican restaurant to celebrate!

We knew it'd be a long wait... it's Cinco de Mayo at a Mexican restaurant!

What we didn't count on was the lady putting us on the waiting list for 2 people instead of 11.

And numerous groups came in after us and were seated before us.  The average wait was 30 minutes.  Ours was an hour.

I won't even go into what they did (or didn't do) to our food and drinks.  It wasn't pretty.

I couldn't tell you the last time I left anything less than 20% for a tip.  Especially when I don't spend much.  I feel like I need to make it worth the waiter's while, even if I order something cheap.  When I spend just a little, I usually leave at least a 50% tip.

But, and I hate to say it, not tonight.  I didn't hold anything against the waiter that wasn't his fault (the hostess issue), but wow, it was just overall bad service and no one was nice or even apologized for anything.
